Media

Media personnel are invited to attend the Geoscience Forum and will be given complimentary registration to gain access to presentations, poster sessions, and the trade show. Please pre-register (you will need to contact the conference coordinator to receive a discount code in order to register online). 

 

When conducting an interview, members of the media are requested to advise delegates that they are with the media!

 

Guidelines

Media attending the Geoscience Forum are requested to follow these guidelines:

• No recording in theatres or off the sound board without permission from the author/speaker
• No camera lights or flashes during talks
• No interviews without telling the interviewee that you are with the media
• Disruptive behaviour will result in the media person being asked to leave (eg. standing next to the podium with a microphone in front of the speaker)
